To play Othello, place your discs on the board to flank your opponent’s pieces. Each turn, capture opponent discs by sandwiching them between yours. Continue until the board is full or no moves remain, then count discs to see who dominates.
Players take turns placing discs with their color facing up. You must flip at least one opponent disc each turn. The game ends when neither player can move, and the winner is the one with the most discs on the board.
Focus on corners and edges for control. Avoid giving your opponent easy flips. Think ahead and anticipate counter moves. Keep the center flexible to adapt strategies as the board fills
Othello is best for 2 players and usually takes 20–40 minutes per game. You can play offline with AI or with a friend locally.
